EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-focused therapeutic approach designed to help the brain process and integrate distressing experiences that remain “stuck” in the nervous system. EMDR is normally used for PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, phobias, and traumatic memories.
Initial 1.5 hrs assessment
During the initial assessment we explore the experiences, memories, beliefs, and emotional patterns that may be contributing to present difficulties, to identify the areas of focus for the work, while ensuring there is enough stability, safety, and internal resources.
EMDR weekly sessions (50 minutes)
I offer long term and short term EMDR therapy, online or in person. Each weekly 50-minute session is tailored to address your specific mental health needs, explore challenges, develop coping strategies, and foster emotional well-being.
EMDR long sessions (90 minutes)
I also offer longer EMDR sessions, online or in person, as some issues may require more time for exploration and integration. Some clients also use these longer sessions forthnighly, as it fits their schedule better.
EMDR Packages
I offer tailored packages for humanitarian workers, members of the military and frontline workers like doctors and nurses, who may require more flexible options, including emergency response interventions, regular check-ins, or ad hoc sessions.
